Jardino Garden Peat is a pure natural product from very old peat layers. It is therefore severely decomposed and has a dark-brown color. The acidity level (PH) is very low, it contains no fertilizer substances and has, in addition to the high water capacity, a high proportion of organic substances. Jardino Garden Peat is ideal for soil enhancement and for planting acid favoring plants, such as conifers, heather and hortensia.

• When planting acid favoring vegetation ( e.g. conifers and heather) 5-10 litres of garden peat is mixed one-to-one with the soil dug out of each hole, and this mixture is then placed in the plant hole, partly before planting and partly after
• All around the acid favoring vegetation spread and work in a 5 cm thick layer of garden peat at least once a year
• As winter protection for bulb plants and roses
